Hey! I’m Matt, a photographer based in Brisbane, Australia. I’ve spent the last sixteen years using and exploring the medium of photography. Whilst I have worked across the photography spectrum from advertising, travel, weddings and events, my passion lies in portraiture and aeronautical photography. I’ve always been interested in the old masters of photography and painting. I love studying the traditional techniques and art history behind these images and I’m fascinated by the art of portraiture. I believe anyone can take a photo, but it takes dedication, technique and attention to detail to create a beautiful portrait. It is this pursuit as well as an intuitive understanding of light that drives me to keep creating. I am currently available for assignment. Matthew Christ
